Psychiatric Aide
Duties and Responsibilities: Assist mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed patients, working under direction of nursing and medical staff. May assist with daily living activities, lead patients in educational and recreational activities, or accompany patients to and from examinations and treatments.
Salary: $25,400
Education: Most jobs for psychiatric aides require completion of high school, and many require a driver's license to aid in the transport of clients to outside activities or appointments. Psychiatric aides are usually well-supervised and are expected to learn their responsibilities while on the job.

- Most psychiatric aides are expected to work hours that are not in a traditional workday such as nights and weekends.
- You will spend a lot of your time on your feet going from patient to patient. In addition, you may need to perform some physical tasks helping people.
Reflection: I would not like to become a psychiatric aide because this doesn't interest me and i have plans for something else.
