Registered Nurse (RN)

Duties and Responsibilities: Other RN job functions include performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results, administering medications, operating medical equipment, recording patients' symptoms and medical histories, and assisting with patient rehabilitation and follow-up. Some registered nurses pursue a specialization.

Education: RN education degree requirements range from a diploma to a bachelor's degree.Diploma programs are offered at hospitals and typically last three years. Associates degrees in nursing are offered at community colleges and take two to three years to complete.

Demand: In fact, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics recently reported that employment for registered nurses (RNs) is expected to increase by 16% through 2024. That growth rate is much faster than the average for all occupations, making nursing a valuable field to go into.

Reflection: I would not like to become a registered nurse because I'm not interested in becoming one and i already have my goals on something else that i am really interested in.
