This quote means that if you are a good and honest person, then that means that you are a good friend and if you are a good friend for your friends and family, then that means that you are a person that people can trust. For example, if you are a good and honest friend, then a lot of people would like to become your friend as well because there aren't a lot of people that are honest and good with each other.For another example, if you are bad and you are not honest, then that means that a lot of people would not like to become your friend because you aren't a good and honest person to rely on and a lot of people would stay away from you because they wont trust you and they would not like to become your friend because they would think that you will betray them if they become your friend, so that why people would stay away from you. And if you are not a good and honest person, then that means that a lot of people would not want to hang out with you or even talk to you, or even want to become your new friend, but if you become a true and honest person, then that means some people will try to become our friend since they see that you have change in your personality, but some wont trust you still but some wont trust you at all but you can always make new friends.
