This quote means that if you give all of your best, training, and hard work o it, then that means that you will be rewarded with something good that will happen in your life. For example, if you don't try or give your best in a test or sports game, then why did you even give your best in in training for a big game or on a test when you are going to do nothing and if you want to do good in something, then that means that you should give your best and do your best in anything and that's when good things will happen because that's how everything will change in a  bad way, but most of the time that training you be giving yourself will be a good thing help yourself understand that you are worth something to give for.
