Optometry Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Optometrist assistants help optometrists by conducting diagnostic tests, recording and measuring vision, testing eye function, instructing patients in inserting and caring for contact lenses, preparing examination rooms, cleaning and arranging equipment, answering phones, making appointments, handling bookkeeping and many more things.

Salary: $22,260

Education: Education Required. To become an optometry technician, you should at least have your high school diploma. Common courses to help you prepare for a career in optometry include anatomy, physiology of the eye, optics, optometry procedures and optical devices.

Demand: They receive little bit of money.

Reflection: I would not like to become an Optometry technician because it doesn't interest me and it looks boring to me and i am already interested a different career.
